Kaylie grew up in a small town in Illinois called Dixon. Ever heard of it? Probably not. Upon graduating from Butler University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, she made the decision to start a blog capturing all her interests including traveling, visiting farmer's markets and reading romance novels.

When she isn't making the perfect cup of coffee for her twin sister Allie, stalking Instagram accounts of pugs, or indulging in reality TV series, she likes to journal her life experiences. She figured "adulting" was moving her thoughts from her journal (not diary) to a structured blog and sharing her opinions, thoughts, and obsessions with the public.
