Summer Styles for Festivals
Even though I feel like summer is slowly coming to an end, the weather has been cooperating enough to allow me to share some fun summer fashion. Today, I wanted to share one of my favorite graphic tanks (Is it just me, or is everybody growing a collection of graphic tees and tanks?) and my most comfortable high-waisted shorts. Together, these pieces are perfect for strolling through the carnival with friends, attending music festivals, or to throw over your tiny bikini for those long river days. Since this is my first "fashion" post, I want to explain that I am not claiming to be the most fashionable person ever, but I try, so if you’re needing a little summer fashion inspo check out my easy and comfortable summer outfit below!
This NY Sunset and Rose tank was found for a bargain at TJ Maxx. I will admit that I am a new member aboard the TJ Maxx and Marshalls bandwagon since we don’t have one anywhere near my hometown. Allie goes to TJ Maxx weekly at school and this past spring when she and I were in downtown Indianapolis we stopped at the TJ Maxx there upon her request. When I saw this cute tank I could not turn it down, plus it was only $7.99! I’ll take it.
As most girls know, finding the same top twice at TJ Maxx is about as likely as seeing everything on your first lap at Forever 21. Therefore, the original turtleneck tank isn't attached here, but I've linked similar style tops here, here, and here. The last top can be purchased for less than $8.
I’ve had these YMI acid-washed, high-waisted shorts since the trend started a few summers ago, so I don’t think the exact style are still in stock. However, I’ve linked similar shorts here, here, and here. Bonus, they are all currently on clearance for less than $30!
